Vision & Goals
The Astrophotography Masterclass is a flexible 1 or 2 night workshop designed to inspire and equip photographers of all levels to capture the breathtaking beauty of the night sky.
My goal is to foster a supportive and creative environment, encouraging you to push your technical skills and creativity to new heights while producing stunning images that celebrate the wonders of the universe.

Advanced Editing Skills: Improve your post-processing abilities with post processing tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Helicon Focus, and Starry Landscape Stacker.

Itinerary
Pre-Workshop Zoom
We'll have a Zoom session to introduce ourselves, go over essential gear and key camera settings to familiarize you before the workshop, review the itinerary, and cover all the important logistics for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Day 1: Let the adventure begin!
Evening: The workshop location and time of year will determine the exact start times. These details are shared with participants upon registering but we generally spend about 5 hours under the stars.

Day 2: Taking things further!
Afternoon: Day 2 starts out with a 3 hour editing session in the afternoon. This may be in person and or virtual. While editing sessions can be vary depending on the needs of the group, the following topics are generally covered:

Intermediate Editing (Photoshop)
Evening: The second evening you will find yourself in a new location and the night focuses more on composition and advanced techniques, it can be very fluid depending on your needs and the skill sets of the group. We will again spend about another 5 hours under the stars and generally the following topics are covered:

It is beneficial to have access to photo editing software like Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop for post-processing, but it's not mandatory. While my processes use Adobe products, the concepts can be applied in other programs.
Will I receive any printed materials or notes?
Some workshops may provide printed materials, notes or recorded virtual session; however, most information will be shared verbally and or digitally.
Is transportation provided to workshop locations?
Transportation details will be specified in the workshop description. Participants need to arrange their transportation.
Is there an age requirement for the workshops?
Our workshops are generally geared for participants 18+. If you are or would like to bring a minor please contact us before booking.
